In June 2022, Griegos Farms (Jay Rembe) purchased a 10.23-acre site from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe at 1860 Griegos Road NW on the former baseball fields for the North Valley Little League. According to the Design Review Board, plans call for the site to be developed into 90 single-family residential units.
The proposed site plan indicates it will be a build-for-rent community with a 5,000 SF clubhouse and common amenities, including a vineyard/lawn area.
Units will be 655 SF one-bedroom units and 897 SF and 1,070 SF two-bedroom floor plans.
The sale price was not disclosed, but Market Edwards with Edwards Commercial Realty had marketed a 5-acre portion of the site for $4.35/SF.
